There is no way any photo can convey how beautiful Munsiyari and its surrounding mountains were. Photos can only give an idea of what the real thing is like.
There were stone paths around town…
…that led us through the forest…
…to the tops of the nearby mountain ridges. And this is what the town looks like when seen from the top.
We also camped in tents and walked through the mist…
…to reach a height where there are no trees growing.
And all the time in the far distance were the snow covered Panchachauli peaks playing hide and seek with us through the clouds.
All in all a wonderful experience we will recommend very highly indeed to everyone.
